Papi’s Pollo is a family-owned restaurant in Burke, bringing the comforting flavors of Peru to our community. We serve charcoal-roasted chicken, wok-fired favorites and welcoming meals made for sharing.
In Loving Memory of Our Founder
Carlos “Carlitos” Montoya
Papi’s Pollo began with Carlos Montoya’s dream of opening a neighborhood pollería—a Peruvian chicken restaurant where families could gather around food prepared with care, consistency and unmistakable flavor.
His vision extended beyond pollo a la brasa. He wanted guests to experience the dishes he loved from Peru, including wok-fired arroz chaufa, lomo saltado and other traditional favorites.
Although Carlos did not live to see the restaurant completed, his family brought his dream to life in his honor. Every chicken roasted over charcoal and every guest welcomed through our doors carries his story forward.
